Heather is the General Counsel of Cabot, the hospitality company that develops golf properties around the world. Previously, Heather was the General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer of Fengate Asset Management, where several of her responsibilities included leading the legal team, designing and implementing the Enterprise Risk Management process, and advising the Executive Team. She also served as General Counsel & Corporate Secretary at Clairvest Group Inc. Prior to these roles she was a corporate and securities lawyer at Torys LLP.

Heather received her Bachelor of Arts from Simon Fraser University, her Bachelor of Law from the Osgoode Hall Law School at York University, and her Masters of Law from the University of Cambridge. She also holds her ICD.D designation and completed the Partners, Directors and Senior Officers course. Heather is actively involved within her community as she previously served as Director and Treasurer of Holy Blossom Temple and is now Chair of the Holy Blossom Temple Governance Committee. She is also a member of the Women’s College Hospital Investment Committee and a member of Board of Directors of Newchoir.
