As Managing Director at Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group, Carl focuses on Investment Operations, which includes operations risk, information systems, the back office, middle office, and enterprise projects. Before Carl joined the firm in 2019, he was CEO of Macquarie Investment Management Korea and Head of Asia, Macquarie Investment Management, where he provided business leadership in the region, managed distribution teams and led corporate development opportunities.

Carl holds a Bachelor of Law, Bachelor of Accounting, and Honours in Accounting from the University of South Africa. Carl is a CFA charterholder and Member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (CA) SA. Giving back to the community is of great importance to Carl and he has played an important role in assisting charities that provide safe haven for abused children in Korea.
